Hi, Neighbor!
I’m Jacqueline “Jacq” Olliges, founder of Flourish Goods Co. I’m a mom of four, longtime North Tacoma resident, and a former tech industry professional who spent a decade leading education philanthropy and community impact work - building programs, managing partnerships, and connecting resources to underserved communities.
After my fourth child was born, I stepped away from that world and was inspired by my own community to think about a new kind of challenge: how do we make supporting local businesses feel simple and part of everyday life?
My answer became Flourish Goods Co.
This idea started from something deeply personal. I missed the farmers market. I missed knowing the people behind what we brought into our home. I missed the ritual of picking up fresh bread, beautiful flowers, and farm eggs while running into neighbors and feeling bonded with the community around me. But somewhere between juggling four kids, baseball games, birthday parties, and the pace of everyday life, making it to the market or small shops around town stopped feeling realistic - even though supporting local still mattered so much to me.
What started as a personal desire to bring community rituals back into my life grew into a curated, Tacoma-rooted subscription supplying households with the best of our local bakers, farmers, and makers. Each week, we aim to bring you a little bit of that farmers market feeling and a whole lot of midweek joy.
Flourish is about making it easier for people to support and stay involved with their local community in a consistent, meaningful way. When that happens, neighborhoods feel a little smaller, stronger, and more connected.
Thank you for embracing this community-driven dream and helping turn it into something real. Let’s Flourish together, Grit City!
